Christian Lauba's 37th concert étude, Masqat, is for solo soprano saxophone. Dedicated to Jérôme Laran, the subtitle is "Etude on the Arabic-Andalusian mode," giving Masqat an Eastern sonority. 

Score consists of 3 pages, featuring significant virtuosity and ad.lib. slap-tonguing.
