For solo alto saxophone, three movements. In the preface, the composer writes -

Unwitting witness of that half of loneliness which is the port of Buenos Aires, the bandoneon has accompanied and transformed the culture of the city from the beginning. This series of pieces is an attempt to take a look at the bandoneon (its breathing, its voice, maybe its aura too…) through the saxophone.

The first piece is essentially focused on the bandoneon’s "gestuality", starting with rhythmic, melodic and discursive projections based on its traditional musical materials. The second piece deepens the work on the harmonies derived from the saxophone’s multiphonics and its relationship with the bandoneon’s tango chords.The third piece continues with the research of the previous pieces related to multiphonic tones but it makes special emphasis on melodic development.
