The 19th concert étude by Christian Lauba, Partyta is written for solo soprano saxophone. Dedicated to Lars Mlekusch, the piece is written on a harmonic progression that is realized on the saxophone through furious, virtuosic arpeggios. Subtitled as "Étude for the mastery of trills of large intervals", the piece also includes 2 significant sections that incorporate multiphonics (fingerings provided in the score). Circular breathing is also assumed.
