A very challenging, modern solo for soprano saxophone; approximate duration 6'30". This solo is dedicated to the French virtuoso Philippe Geiss. Modern techniques include the significant use of bisbigliando, quarter-tones, flutter-tongue, and pitch manipulation with the embouchure. Tremolos of large intervals are found throughout. This is a technical tour-de-force that will challenge any saxophonist.
