For solo alto saxophone, subtitled "Etude for the mastery of circular breathing and slap trills." Dedicated to Timothy McAllister.
Christian Lauba's 26th Etude, Banjo, demonstrates the continual development of techniques for saxophone. Lauba includes a new technique - trill de slaps - where the performer slaps as frequently as possible during a regular trill. Other techniques include multiphonics and regular slap-tonguing. Circular breathing is also implied.
