For solo alto saxophone, subtitled "Etude on typical formulas of jazz." This is the 35th concert étude by Christian Lauba, dedicated to Nicolas Arsenijevic - the new professor of saxophone at the Conservatoire Nationale Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP). 

Score in 6 pages, containing common jazz formulas/licks in a virtuosic composition. Lauba employs only a few extended techniques in this new study, including a rhythmic slap-tonguing section, multiphonics (fingerings included), and light usage of altissimo (mostly to G, with one Ab and Bb each).
