A rhythmically-advanced new duo for alto saxophone and percussion. Commissioned by Becky Morris and Joshua Priest, in Steel presents a great opportunity in an evolving medium. The percussionist is required to perform on vibraphone as well as a multi-percussion set of bass drum, wood block, splash cymbal, nipple gong, triangle and crotales.

A separate saxophone part is provided. The percussionist plays from the score. Performance time is ~10 minutes.
